![]() The reviewers were impressed by the depth, variety, and creativity shown by the entire application pool.ģ4 outstanding public humanities project proposals received awards of up to $5,000, totaling $165,000. We received almost 150 applications from across the state for projects that will respond to the needs and interests of Californians, encourage greater public participation in humanities programming, particularly by new and/or underserved audiences, and promotes understanding and empathy among all our state’s peoples in order to cultivate a thriving democracy. We’re very pleased to conclude another year of grantmaking by announcing the awards for our first Humanities for All Quick Grant round (October 25 deadline). ![]()
